В ряде стран остается неизвестной степень лекарственной устойчивости, в связи с чем лечение больных с МЛУ ТБ нередко оказывается неадекватным.
Встранах с идентифицированным уровнем лекарственной устойчивости необходимо в рамках программ борьбы с ТБ проводить специальные мероприятия, направленные на правильное ведение таких больных. Возникает необходимость также в осуществлении стратегии борьбы с ТБ в целях предупреждения возникновения и распространения лекарственной устойчивости, прежде всего МЛУ ТБ.
